Garter Stitch is possibly the very first stitch for knitters to learn, for me at least. I learned how to cast on with this stitch when I was little girl. I have shared some garter stitch knitting projects for beginners, easy to follow and practical, such as the Easiest Ballet Flat House Slippers from Square, and you can try to use this stitch in, too. You’ll love having this perfectly striped pouf around to lean on or to rest your feet. It can be crocheted very easily (even by a beginner) and then a child’s bean bag chair is used for the stuffing. This pouf pattern is perfect, done with short row technique which gives a good shape without having problem to tighten the top and bottom to close the gaps. Stuff the pouf to make the perfect side table, ottoman or bean bag chair.
