Unlike the inspiration, the finished product of this pattern is pretty much guaranteed not to catch your living room on fire or give you significant electrical shocks. This pattern does use beads for fish eyes, magnets, and a dowel for a fishing rod, so it is not appropriate for small children and for animals.
